The Family Encounter Tour is the ideal choice for an Iceland family holiday as it provides the perfect opportunity for the whole family to enjoy every aspect of the country. This tour is ideal for all families with the added bonus that up to 2 children under 14 years stay free of charge in a family room or apartment with their parents.

As this is an 'Iceland family holiday' driving is kept to a minimum, while sites and activities should interest children of all ages.

Our Suggested Itinerary:

Day 1 UK - ICELAND Overnight Reykjavik.

Day 2 Stroll through Reykjavík city centre, visit the Family Park and Zoo, enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and don’t miss the viewing platform at “Perlan”, from where delicious ice creams are available.

Day 3 Snæfellsnes peninsula awaits you. Explore the seal colony at Ytri-Tunga, we also recommend a boat tour on Breiðafjörður fjord.

Day 4 Bifröst area, where you can explore the unique lava landscape on a walk around Glanni waterfall, Grábrók volcano and Hreðavatn Lake.

Day 5 Visit the Hraunfossar waterfalls and Húsafell, where you can go swimming and play minigolf. Optional horseback riding tour in Húsafell and / or snowmobile tour on the glacier Langjökull.

Day 6 Enjoy the Slakki Family Park and Farm Animal Zoo at Laugarás near Flúðir. Visit Gullfoss waterfall,

Day 7 Drive along the south coast and walk behind the waterfall Seljalandsfoss. Visit the puffins at Cape Dyrhólaey and stroll along the endless beach of black sand in Reynishverfi.
